Rose’s interest in vocal music began with her school’s performance of Faure’s Requiem and she has been either singing or playing an instrument ever since! She used to sing with a big band in a jazz vocal group and has also sung with an early music sextet who have performed at windsor castle and have come first in their category at various music festivals.

Rose joined Amersham A Cappella (then Chiltern Harmony) in 1998 and enjoyed the refreshing change of barbershop from conventional choirs. She was a founder member of the quartet 'Cheek to Cheek' who won awards at the LABBS National competition.

Rose gained a music degree from Reading in 1998 and is also a professional piano tuner. She lives in Chalfont St Peter with her husband and two young children.
